Through the initiative of DILG Pampanga, the Provincial GAD Focal Team successfully concluded its online deliberation and coaching session on May 26, 202 with members of the LGU GAD Focal Point System Technical Working Group (GFPS-TWG) of Sasmuan.

 All 21 LGUs of the province participated in the deliberation as part of the Provincial Office's continuing efforts to strengthen the capacity of the local government units and provide them with comprehensive technical assistance in the preparation and enhancement of their GAD Plan and Budget.

This innovation spearheaded by Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia and Cluster Team Leaders Lydia Baltazar and Yvette Cosio is a first among the provinces in Central Luzon. The deliberation and coaching session began with the LGU of Apalit on April 15, 2021 and finished with the LGU of Sasmuan on May 26, 2021. PD Fabia was very thankful for the cooperation of all the LGUs and the commitment of the Provincial GAD Team in achieving the objectives of the said initiative.

Hon. Mayor Gloria P. Ronquillo of Sto. Tomas who participated in the deliberation of their LGU expressed her utmost appreciation to DILG Pampanga for conducting the said activity.

"The assistance provided by the DILG has improved the capacity of our LGU in crafting of our final projects for our residents. Maraming salamat po," said Mayor Ronquillo.

With the submission of final 2022 LGU GPBs, the DILG Pampanga will issue the corresponding Certificate of Review and Endorsement for incorporation in their annual plan and budget.
