The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 through the Project Development and Management Section (PDMS), in coordination with the Project Monitoring and Evaluation Division - Office of Project Development Services (PMED-OPDS) of DILG Central Office headed by PMED Chief Cheryl F. Agustin, facilitated the Orientation on the Omnibus Guidelines in Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects under the FY 2021 Local Government Support Fund Program (LGSF) on May 18, 2021 via Zoom online platform.

 With the aim of providing clear understanding on the provisions of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2021-040 dated April 08, 2021, the activity was opened for the discussion of different issues, concerns and necessary actions in relation to the implementation of LGSF projects.

In his opening remarks, LG-CDD Chief Ener P. Cambronero requested the LFP Teams to constantly remind LGUs on the submission of project proposals to DBM for them to access the financial assistance of the National Government for FY 2021. "We need more development projects in R3 which will contribute in helping us bounce back from the economic effects of this pandemic" he added. He also reminded everyone that while attending to work and responsibilities, their health and safety should still be prioritized.

The virtual activity was participated in by the Provincial LFP Teams composed of the Provincial Directors, Cluster Team Leaders, Locally-Funded Project (LFP) Focal Persons, and Engineers.

All parties remain steadfast in their commitment in observing proper monitoring and evaluation of the projects to better provide service to the people of Central Luzon.
