In another first for the Provincial Office, DILG Pampanga held on April 15, 2021, the pilot session of the online GAD review and deliberation via Zoom.

 The activity has two-pronged objectives: to provide the LGU's GFPS with real-time feedback and recommendations to further enhance their GAD Plan and Budget; and strengthen the capacity of the Provincial GAD Focal Team members on reviewing the LGUs' GPB.

The first of the series of online review and critiquing was participated by the GFPS of the Municipality of Apalit, MLGOO Concesa Novio, and the Provincial GAD Focal Team led by Cluster Team Leaders Lydia Baltazar and Yvette Cosio.

In her message, PD Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia expressed optimism for the Provincial Office's newest innovation seen to enhance the collaboration between local government units and the Department in pursuing gender responsive governance. She also commended the LGU of Apalit for its consistent performance and for continuously hurdling the barriers of the pandemic to deliver better services to its constituents while still promptly complying with the many requirements expected from LGUs.

Meanwhile, members of Apalit's GFPS also extended their appreciation and gratitude to the GAD Focal Team for their technical assistance and reiterated their commitment in working with the Department to attain gender equality in the community.
