The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council III, presided by outgoing OCD-3 Regional Director Maria Theresa Escolano, convened on March 4, 2021 for its quarterly meeting. One of the agenda was the presentation of the Operation L!STO Manual for Volcanic Eruptions: Mt. Pinatubo, which was comprehensively presented by LG-MED Chief Lerrie S. Hernandez

 A conditional approval for the adoption of the manual was motioned and will be fully adopted after five (5) working days given that no other revisions or inclusions are presented by any member of the RDRRM Council.

Albeit being finalized, this manual will be updated at certain periods and other factors maybe included depending on the situation. This will serve as a guidepost in the event of a future Mt. Pinatubo eruption.
