In line with the Department of the Interior and Local Government's program to significantly ramp-up contact tracing in the country, the DILG-Olongapo City conducted the screening of the batch 2 of qualified applicants for the contact tracer positions in the city on October 7, 2020.

To ensure proper social distancing and observance of health protocols, DILG-OC Selection Board, headed by City Director Amada T. Dumagat, held the face-to-face interview and assessment of applicants in batches. All applicants were required to wear their face masks and face shields and underwent thermal scanning and basic sanitation.

38 applicants have passed the screening, and will be endorsed to the DILG Regional Office for the next steps of the recruitment.

The DILG-OC is still hiring 123 contact tracers to complete the 200 contact tracer positions allocated for Olongapo City.
