In line with the Department of the Interior and Local Government's program to significantly ramp-up contact tracing in the country, the DILG-Olongapo City conducted the screening of qualified applicants for the contact tracer positions in Olongapo City on September 24, 2020.

To ensure proper social distancing and observance of health protocols, DILG-OC Selection Board, headed by City Director Amada T. Dumagat, held the face-to-face interview and assessment of applicants in batches. All applicants were required to wear their face masks and face shields and undergo thermal scanning and basic sanitation.

Forty applicants have passed the screening, and will be endorsed to the DILG Regional Office for the next steps of the recruitment.

To complete the 200 contact tracer positions allocated in the city, the DILG Olongapo City is still hiring 160 contact tracers.
