Giving highlights on the Department's approach towards a strengthened internal communication, the DILG Aurora Provincial Office, headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. held Provincial Online Team Conference through Google Meeting, an online platform for video conferencing on June 24, 2020 at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office.

 Since the implementation of DILG Regional Memorandum Circular No. 2020-009 regarding the amendment of work arrangements for the Provinces under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine and the General Community Quarantine, the DILG Aurora Provincial Office personnel and the MLGOOs still remain in constant communication with the available online media platforms. The use of Facebook, Messenger and Google Online Platforms for Video Conferencing like Google Meet ensures the continuous monitoring and compliance of all Local Government Units to pertinent reports and other deliverables.
During the meeting, LGOO V Mary Joyce T. Bautista gave a briefing on the New Locally Stranded Individuals Monitoring Tool and DILG Region III Protocols on Inbound and Outbound Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs).
The Status of Compliance to Full Disclosure Policy Portal Posting, Barangay FDP Posting for the Second Quarter 2020 and 2021 GAD Plan and Budget Submission and Endorsement were also discussed by GAD and FDPP Focal Person LGOO V Rossella P. Edillor.
Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac gave a comprehensive discussion on the salient features of the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill of 2020, highlighting the controversial sections that are causing concerns due to exaggeration and incomplete press reporting. He also discussed some points on the recently concluded PPOC wherein Resolution No. 2020-02 (Resolution in Support to a Strengthened Anti-Terror Law with Emphasis on its Proper Enforcement Observing and Respecting Basic Human Rights and Democratic Institutions) was unanimously approved.

Atty. Tactac, along with the Section Chiefs reminded the staff on the different schedules of reporting, explained the monitoring systems to have one and same understanding, and directed to maintain an open coordination and be available on urgent matters or as need arises.
The video conference was held to ensure the continued delivery and accomplishment of the assigned tasks and responsibilities of each personnel. The PO also provided guidance on the issues and concerns regarding the government's response to COVID-19 pandemic.
The Google Meet and Zoom Cloud meetings shall also be used from time to time to conduct meetings and to closely coordinate with field personnel.
