The Province of Bulacan led by Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and Gov. Daniel R. Fernando celebrated the 121st Anniversary of the Philippine Republic on January 23, 2019 at the Barasoain Church, Malolos City.

In his message, Sen. Bato emphasized that as Filipinos, we must continue to fight for our democracy and country. Likewise, Gov. Fernando calls out the youth to embrace the meaning and significance of nationhood amid noise brought by social media.
The 1st Philippine Republic was drafted and formally inaugurated at the same place and day year 1899.
The activity was also attended by National Historical Commission of the Philippines OIC-Executive Director Carminda Arevalo, DILG Bulacan PD Darwin David, Board Members, and Mayors.
