In a bid to promote safer roads and communities, local legislators in Pampanga convened in a Road Safety and Management Summit on March 6, 2020 at Kingsborough Convention Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.


The Pampanga Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), in coordination with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, DILG, and other national government agencies, led the summit attended by local legislators, various transport groups and selected government offices in the province. Discussed during the meeting were relevant and prevailing issues affecting the motorists, traffic law enforcers, and over-all public safety.
Likewise, the activity aimed to cause the crafting of new policies and strengthening of existing local legislations that will ensure the peace and protection of the public from crimes and disorder arising from road and traffic accidents.
Resource speakers from DILG, DPWH, LTO and LTFRB were invited to present key issuances and national directives that affect road safety and management.
