Pursuant to the Public-Private Partnership Initiative for Local Governments (LGU P4), a project of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) under Improving LGU Competitiveness and Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Program, DILG Region 3 conducted the Regional Orientation and Roll-out on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Joint Venture (JV) for LGUs on October 22-23, 2019 at Best Western Bendix Hotel, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The activity served as an avenue to provide target LGUs with a broader understanding on the concepts of LGU P4, introduce the different modalities used under PPP specifically Joint Venture, and help LGUs identify and determine "PPPable" projects as well as the legalities involved.
The two-day activity was attended by the Sangguniang Bayan/Lungsod Members, Local Planning and Development Officers (LPDO), Local Economic and Investments Promotion Officers (LEIPO) and City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (C/MLGOO) of the seven (7) target LGUs from Region 3 namely: Municipality of Abucay, Bataan, Municpality of Bulakan, Bulacan, Municipality of Pulilan, Bulacan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Municipality of Candaba, Pampanga, Municipality of Pura, Tarlac and Municipality of San Marcelino, Zambales.
