The Sangguniang Panlungsod Members of Olongapo City convened on August 6, 2019 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, City Hall Building, Olongapo City to conduct their General Assembly Meeting and Election of City Chapter Officers.

Hon. Janina Medina-Fariñas, Philippine Councilors' League (PCL) Interim Vice-Chairperson in Luzon, graced the activity and provided updates on PCL National Leadership. She also conveyed the gratitude of Hon. Luis Chavit Singson, former PCL National President to Olongapo City for all the support they have extended to the league.

Financial position, activities conducted and attended and other accomplishments of the PCL Olongapo City Chapter were presented by their Interim President - Hon. Sarah Lugerna Lipumano-Garcia. On the other hand, DILG City Director Amada Dumagat, as the Chairperson of the PCL Committee on Elections (COMELEC), introduced the members of the COMELEC, Liga ng mga Barangay President Hon. Randy Sionzon and Sangguniang Panlungsod Secretary Mildred Monje. She also oriented the attendees on the PCL Guidelines and DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-103.

The following emerged and were proclaimed as the new set of officers of PCL Olongapo City Chapter: Hon. Sarah Lugerna Lipumano-Garcia – President; Hon. Jerome Michael S. Bacay – Vice-President; Hon. Cristabelle Marie C. Paulino – Secretary General; Hon. Kaye Ann S. Legaspi – Treasurer; Hon. Jamiel Jules K. Escalona – Auditor; and Hon. Rodel C. Cerezo – Public Relations Officer.

The activity concluded with the oath-taking of the newly-elected set of officers.
