Baler- Aurora. In order to provide the most appropriate and necessary assistance to the Provincial Government of Aurora in the realization of its Provincial Governance Reform Roadmap (PGRR), DILG Aurora has conducted an Assessment of the Implementation of PGRR and Prioritization of Capacity Development Interventions for FY 2019 on July 24, 2019 at AMCO Beach Resort.

The PGRR, as one of the innovative requirements of the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program, is a four (4) year plan which includes interventions or strategies to strengthen the Provincial Government's Local Road Management (LRM) and Public Financial Management (PFM). It was divided into annual targets which were consolidated in the Annual Reform Action Plan (ARAP). This ARAP represents a one-year slice of PGRR and shows how it will be operationally implemented in terms of plan of activities, clear objectives and deliverables, timelines, responsible office/ focal persons, budget and support agencies.
The said activity served as a venue to determine the current status of implementation of the PGRR and elicit the commitment of the Local Road Management (LRM) Team to achieve their reform targets. Also, the Provincial Government through the LRM Team has come up with six (6) priority trainings/ development interventions to be conducted for FY 2019 that will address the identified competency gaps or competency enhancement needs of LRMT members.
A total of 22 participants attended the activity composed of the DILG Aurora LFP Team headed by CTL Ariel Espinosa and the Local Road Management Team composed of the different Department Heads and technical staff from the Provincial Government of Aurora.
