CITY OF MALOLOS – On June 28, 2019, two (2) days before the mandated assumption to office, Governor-elect Daniel R. Fernando took his oath of office before Executive Judge Olivia V. Escubio-Samar of Bulacan Regional Trial Court.

In his speech, he extended his gratitude for the trust and confidence given to him by the Bulakenyos. He also summarized the things the Bulakenyos should expect in the upcoming years by laying his 10 People's Agenda which main focus are health, quality education for the youth, livelihood for every Bulakenyo, agriculture, proactive social services, progressive projects for every town, tourism, nature and environment, peace and order, and good and honest governance.

Aside from Fernando, others who took their oath are former Governor and now Vice Governor-elect Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado, representatives of the Five (5) Congressional District of Bulacan and the elected Local Officials of the three (3) Cities and Twenty-one (21) Municipalities of the Province.

On the same event, outgoing Governor and Vice Governor-elect Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado handed over the acrylic box containing the provincial flag, Provincial Government of Bulacan Seal, Keys and Certificate of turnover to Governor-elect Daniel R. Fernando signifying a ceremonial turnover.

Said mass oath taking has a theme of: "Dedikasyon at Aksyon sa Panunungkulan para sa Dakilang Lalawigan" which aims to set aside political differences to champion the welfare of each Bulakenyos, a challenge dubbed by the Governor-elect to the elected officials during his speech.
