Honest, orderly and peaceful elections in Pampanga is the target of the 2019 National and Local Elections Send-Off Ceremony on May 5, 2019 held at Pampanga Police Provincial Parade Grounds, City of San Fernando.

More than 2,000 uniformed and civilian personnel shall be tapped and deployed to ensure excellent security coverage all over the province, ultimately to protect the sanctity of vote of every Kapampangan.

DILG Pampanga Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia commits more than 11,000 barangay peace-keeping action team (BPAT) members as supplementary, force multipliers to the more than 1,400 police personnel to be deployed to almost 500 polling precincts in Pampanga.

Uniformed personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection shall also be on top to provide quick response actions on any arising incident and accident within the area.

Local Government Units from the provincial down to the barangay level through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils are on heightened alert in the entire duration of the election to provide quick response in polling precincts on medical and disaster-related concerns.

The Department of Education through OIC-District Superintendent Leonardo Zapanta offered all the amenities of all schools in jurisdiction for the use of security and armed personnel until the end of the election process.
