In order to strengthen Barangay Sto. Cristo, Angeles City's Barangay Based Institutions, a reorientation on GAD Focal Point System, RA 9262 Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Act of 2004 and Strengthening Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) was conducted on April 26, 2019 at Barangay Sto. Cristo, Multi-Purpose Building.

LGOO V Luz Madlangbayan discussed the salient features of Republic Act 9262 and the guidelines in setting up the VAWC Desk. She also cited the important role of barangay officials in ensuring the functionality of the VAWC Desk; which shall be equipped with proper facilities and provided with funds. "Addressing issues at the grassroots level does not only empower women but communities in general to end violence and abuses", LGOO V Madlangbayan said. The topic on Barangay GAD Plan Budget was also discussed.
LGOO III Romer Enaje presented the Barangay Drug Clearing Program Legal Bases and the Functions of BADAC. He emphasized the need for the people of Barangay Sto. Cristo's participation and commitment in eradicating illegal drugs.
