Pandi, Bulacan – DILG Undersecretary for Operations Epimaco Densing III, together with DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Darwin David, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (MED) Chief Lerrie Hernandez, Mayor Celestino Marquez, Vice Mayor Noel Roxas and other municipal officials graced the Blessing and Inauguration of the newly-built Barangay Outpost and Evacuation Center in Pandi Village I, Brgy. Siling Bata, Pandi, Bulacan on March 6, 2019.

In his brief message, USEC Densing stressed the importance of community involvement in carrying out government projects and programs while commending DILG's Resettlement Governance Program achievements as well as the partner local government officials. Furthermore, he emphasized the continuous support of the department to ensure that good quality basic services are available in the resettlement sites.

The newly inaugurated evacuation center is funded through the Resettlement Governance Assistance Fund (RGAF) awarded to the municipality of Pandi last December 2017. There are also other existing resettlement sites in Pandi (3), Balagtas (1), Bocaue (1), Norzagaray (1) and City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan (2), aside from the one in Barangay Siling Bata, which benefited from RGAF.
