The municipality of Balagtas, Bulacan inaugurated its Evacuation Center and Barangay Outpost on December 17 2018. It was attended by Balagtas Bulacan Mayor Eladio Gonzales, DILG-3 Assistant Regional Director Jay Timbreza, DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Darwin David and other personnel from the Local Government Unit and DILG.

A turn-over ceremony for two (2) units of Garbage Trucks and one (1) Patrol Vehicle was also held. Street lights and CCTV cameras were also installed along Balagtas Heights.
During the program, ARD Timbreza congratulated the municipality for coming up with a project that will definitely benefit the people. Likewise, PD David commended Balagtas, Bulacan for being the top LGU to utilize the Resettlement Governance Assistance Fund (RGAF).
