DILG Pampanga headed by PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia joined the tree-planting activity at Brgy. Navaling, Magalang, Pampanga on December 4, 2018.

The Municipality of Magalang and some Barangay Officials with Mayor Maria Lourdes P. Lacson headed the ceremonial Tamarind Planting and Linis-Estero as part of the Information and Education Campaign of the Manila Bay Program.

 

A narrowed term “Tamarindization” was coined for the event which was also participated by an estimated number of 20 students of Magalang Institute.

The quarterly event is in response to the commitment of the Municipality and DILG Pampanga to constantly rehabilitate a greener environment to benefit the future generations.

“Today’s activity is just one of the many efforts of the province in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities for the environment”, said PD Fabia.
