Signifying the commitment to a peaceful local elections, the candidates for local government posts stood and marched together on the Midterm Elections Unity Walk conducted on January 14, 2019 at the Freedom Park plaza grounds, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

To show their unending support, the Commission on Elections, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, among other government agencies, participated in the said activity. PD Renato G. Bernardino mentioned in his welcoming message the relevance of the activity, which is to unite all elective officials and candidates to attain honest elections. After the Unity Walk, an Interfaith Prayer Rally and Peace Covenant Signing was held at the Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office, Cabanatuan City.

The activity ended with the release of white doves, symbolizing peace and unity with the high hopes of achieving fair, peaceful and orderly May 2019 elections in the province.
