Under the Chairmanship of Governor Aurelio M. Umali of the Province of Nueva Ecija, the Central Luzon Regional Peace and Order Council, in its desire to fast track and effectively implement the peace and order initiatives of the region, have proposed the creation of three (3) sub-committees namely: Sub-Committee on Internal Peace and Security (SC-IPS); Sub-Committee on Anti-Criminality (SC-AC); and Sub-Committee on Anti-Dangerous Drugs (SC-ADD).

 

   The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region-III, as the secretariat of the Central Luzon Regional Peace and Order Council, facilitated the conduct of the Organizational Meeting on November 13, 14 and 17, of the above committees respectively, at the Partyland Restaurant, City of San Fernando, Pampanga
 
   The Organizational Meetings were aimed at orienting the members of their respective roles and functions and also to cull-out suggestions from them for possible programs, projects or activities that may be recommended to the RPOC full council.

   The Chairperson of the aforecited committees are: Governor Gerardo A. Noveras of Aurora for the Sub-Committee on Internal Peace and Security; Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. of Zambales for the Sub-Committee on Anti-Criminality; and Governor Lilia G. Pineda of Pampanga for the Sub-Committee on Anti-Dangerous Drugs.
