DILG Bridges strengthened Youth-Oriented Programs on Anti-Illegal Drugs, Insurgency, Depression and Bullying in its 4th Quarter PMCC

CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN — The DILG Bulacan convened today, November 04, 2025, its 4th Quarter Provincial Management Coordinating Committee (PMCC) meeting in preparation for the upcoming 4th Quarter Joint PPOC-PADAC-PTF-ELCAC meeting. Representatives from the PNP, BFP, BJMP, AFP, Office of the Governor, and Bulacan Private Schools Association (BULPRISA) gathered to harmonize programs on peace and order, public safety, anti-insurgency, and youth development initiatives.

The meeting highlighted the PMCC’s role as a vital bridge for coordination among uniformed agencies of the government, and as a channel for cooperation with private institutions. The Bulacan Private Schools Association (BULPRISA) also took part in the discussion, raising concerns about class suspensions, the growing mental health challenges among students, and incidents of bullying in schools. This emphasizes the need for stronger collaboration between the government and educational institutions to ensure public safety and well-being particularly among our students and youth in general.

DILG Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia affirmed that the PMCC continues to serve as a vital platform for crafting unified and evidence-based policies and programs that address public safety and social concerns across Bulacan. She also emphasized that empowering the youth through education and collective action is essential to sustaining the province’s progress in peace and development.
