April 21, 2025 | In a significant step towards enhancing public safety and emergency response, the Municipality of Bustos held the Blessing and Inauguration of the Command Center and Go-Live Activation 911 at the Municipal Grounds BMA Avenue Poblacion, Bustos, Bulacan.
The newly-inaugurated Bustos Command Center features LGU call handlers - trained by the National e911 for call handling, 911 operators in 24/7 operation, and disaster response equipment including computers, media boxes, speakers, internet from different service providers, cloud storage, and television which will equip the Municipality with real-time monitoring systems and emergency dispatch tools for immediate coordination between response teams.
The said activity was led by Mayor Francis Albert Juan and Vice Mayor Martin Angeles. Also graced the activity are 911 Executive Director Francis Fajardo and DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, and attended by LnB President Bulacan Chapter Fortunato SJ Angeles, Sangguniang Bayan Members and Punong Barangays.
The establishment of Bustos Command Center serves as an action on the call of support of the DILG Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla for the LGUs to strengthen and localize 911 emergency system. Through this development, Bustos is now on its proactive leap towards a safer and a more resilient Municipality - where help is now 911 call away.
