DILG BULACAN CONFERS "LUNARAYA" AWARDS FOR LGU'S LOCALLY-FUNDED PROJECTS

Few days before 2024 ends, DILG Bulacan, through the Lunaraya Awards, gave recognition for this year’s outstanding achievements of the LGUs in terms of the implementation of Locally Funded Projects across the Province of Bulacan. Among the LGUs who received recognition are:

Ideal Functionality of Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs) for LGUs, demonstrated exemplary performance in ensuring effiecient project monitoring:

• Provincial Government of Bulacan;
• Municipalities of Angat, Balagtas, Bustos, Guiguinto, Marilao, Obando, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, and Santa Maria; and
• Cities of Baliwag and San Jose Del Monte

2024 National SubayBayani Awards:

• Provincial Category: Provincial Government of Bulacan
• City Categeroy: City of Baliwag
• Municipal Category: Municipality of Plaridel

Best Implementers of FY 2023 SGLGIF

• 1st Place: Municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad
• 2nd Place: Santa Maria
• 3rd Place: Municipality of Guiguinto

Best Implementers of FY 2023 SBDP:

• 1st Place: City of San Jose Del Monte
• 2nd Place: Municipality of Norzagaray
• 3rd Place: Municipality of Norzagaray

Accordingly, HINANG Featured Projects and Individual Excellence Awards such as Best Provincial Focal Persons (PFPs) for Rapid Subproject Sustainability Assessment (RSSA), SubayBayan, LFP, and Municipal Engineers were also conferred on the said awarding ceremony.

Derived from the words “Luna” which means light and “Haraya” which means hope or aspiration, Lunaraya signifies the projects and individuals who have brought light to the aspirations and dreams of the Bulakenyos, serving as beacons in building a brighter future for the province.
