October 22, 2024 | Alongside with the conduct of the 4th Quarter Joint Meeting of PPOC-PADAC and PTF-ELCAC, the following barangays received recognition for passing the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) held at the Hiyas Convention, Capitol Compound, Malolos, Bulacan. This recognition is a testament of their excellence in service and promotion of good governance. Barangays that passed the said assessment for the year 2023 are as follows:

The SGLGB is an assessment conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to encourage and promote good governance in barangays across the country. Those who received recognition went through a thorough evaluation and demonstrated their ability in various aspects of management including Financial Administration and Sustainability; Disaster Preparedness; Safety, Peace and Order; Social Protection and Sensitivity; Business-friendliness and Competitiveness; and Environmental Management.
