MALOLOS BULACAN – In partnership with the Provincial Government, a conference was held for the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) seeking to representation in the Local Special Bodies (LSBs) on August 6, 2019 at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

During the conference, citizen participation was emphasized as the CSOs were oriented on the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-72 dated May 27, 2019 or the “Guidelines on the accreditation of Civil Society Organizations and selection of representatives to the Local Special Bodies” as well as the importance of Participatory Governance, Codal Avenues of Participation and relevance of Local CSO Network.

The activity provided an avenue for CSOs to fully understand the Memorandum Circular and raise their concerns especially on the process of accreditation.

The issued DILG Memorandum Circular is pursuant to Article 64 of the IRR of Local Government Code of 1991.

MALOLOS, BULACAN – Facilitated by the Locally-Funded Projects Team, a Program Review on the Implementation of Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) of the Provincial Government of Bulacan for the First Semester of 2019 was conducted on July 18, 2019 at Viola Hall, Hiyas Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

 

 

City of Malolos, Bulacan – The Philippine Councilor’s League Bulacan Chapter conducted the Provincial Federation Election last August 2, 2019 at Hiyas Ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan. The activity is in accordance to Memorandum Circular No. 2019-103 issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government on creating the guidelines every Local Government Units should observe in conducting the election.

CITY OF MALOLOS - The Philippine National Police Bulacan PPO, in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government conducted a Unity Walk for a Secure and Fair Election (SAFE) 2019 on January 13, 2019, 5:00 o’clock in the morning at the historical Church of Barasoain.
