The Municipality of Bustos, Bulacan formally launched its iBPLS or the Integrated Business Permitting and Licensing System on March 23, 2022.

The iBPLS is a system developed by the Department of Information and Communications and Technology (DICT) to help LGUs streamline their systems and procedures. It also aims to expedite the processing of business permits.

          “Naniniwala po ako na lubos itong makakatulong sa ating mga negosiyante at kumukuha ng lisensya na masigurado nila makuha ito nang hindi kumokonsumo ng mahabang oras”, said Mayor Francis Albert G. Juan in his statement.

          Likewise, LGOO V Jhea M. Gregorio emphasized the importance of streamlined processes to achieve transparent, accountable, and effective local governance.

          The automation of business permitting is also one of the salient features of R.A. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery (EODB-EGSD) in order to cut red-tape and improve government services.
