The Province of Bulacan conducted a Joint Meeting of Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PPOC) on June 11, 2020 led by Governor Daniel R. Fernando.

As the Province of Bulacan shifted to General Community Quarantine (GCQ) from Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), government offices are allowed to partially operate in accordance with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 10 s. 2020.

The City of Malolos led by Mayor Gilbert T. Gatchalian, kicked off a One-stop Shop for Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and indispensable travel on June 8, 2020 at the Senior Citizen Affairs, Malolos Sports and Convention Center Compound.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan’s Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) conducted their 8th meeting on June 4, 2020 at the Official Residence of the Governor.

Vice Mayor, Jose “JJS” Santiago, Jr., takes oath as the new Mayor of Bocaue on June 1, 2020, filling up the vacancy left by the late Mayor Eleanor “Joni” Villanueva-Tugna before Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando as witnessed by DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Darwin D. David.

Due to the enhanced community quarantine imposed by the government due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, meetings and seminars were cancelled and rescheduled to a later date or until further notice. The Department also implemented a work-from-home scheme to keep its employees safe.
