On April 8, 2025, the Final Table Validation for the 2025 Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment was held at the DILG Bulacan Provincial Office and attended by the members of the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF). After all on-site assessments were conducted in 24 LGUs in the province from March 18 to 26, 2025, and during the final table validation, 20 LGUs chieved Ideal Functionality, and 4 LGUs achieved Mature Functionality on LCPC. Meanwhile, 22 LGUs achieved Highly Functional, and the remaining 2 LGUs achieved Moderately Functional on LCAT-VAWC. Evident with these results were the efforts and drive of the LGUs to continuously promote the welfare and protection of vulnerable groups, particularly children and women. Further, observations and recommendations were discussed to enhance the initiatives of the LGUs, achieve higher ratings, and improve the services provided by their councils and committees.
