Digitally Ready with eLGU
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), successfully conducted the Training on the Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System in Calumpit, Bulacan on September 23-26, 2025.
This activity was part of the continuing efforts to digitalize local governance and improve frontline services.
During the training, DICT served as resource persons, guiding participants through the installation, setup, and operation of the eLGU System. The modules covered included:
✅ eCedula
✅ Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS)
✅ Local Civil Registry
✅ eNews
These sessions equipped LGU personnel with practical knowledge and skills to strengthen ease of doing business, foster digital innovation, and advance local government digital transformation.
The DILG continuously moves our LGUs toward digitized systems for faster and more efficient delivery of public service.
