City of Malolos – In their firm commitment to a fair, peaceful, and orderly National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025, candidates vying for local positions in the province of Bulacan gathered today, March 26, 2025, for a Unity Walk in the provincial capital of Malolos.

The Unity Walk commenced at the Old City Hall of Malolos, where candidates, regardless of political affiliations, marched alongside their supporters in a show of solidarity for clean and safe elections. Spearheaded by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), the DILG Bulacan led by Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia joined the said unity walk alongside the PNP, AFP, DepEd, the PPCRV, and various law enforcement agencies and religious groups.

Following the Unity Walk, participants gathered at the historic Barasoain Church for an interfaith mass, reinforcing the shared goal of upholding democratic values and fostering peace in the province.

The event concluded with the signing of a Peace Covenant, where candidates pledged to uphold thePublishing integrity of the electoral process, promote transparency, and maintain mutual respect throughout the campaign period.
