On November 16, 2024, the DILG Bulacan extended full support to the Provincial Government of Bulacan in celebrating Children’s Month and the Provincial Children’s Congress at The Pavillion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center. The activity was inspired by and aligned with the national theme: “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines.”
In his State of the Children's Address, Governor Daniel Fernando encouraged everyone to inspire and support our youth in experiencing what we often describe as the happiest phase of life: childhood. He also highlighted the importance of having and implementing a Nutrition Action Plan, providing ongoing support for child advocacy and early childhood care programs, and strengthening the functions of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) in the province.
The activity served as a platform for children to express themselves and highlight their creativity and potential. These performances were more than just a display of talent; they also served as a powerful reminder of the significant role the young generation plays in the development of the province. This activity demonstrated the dedication of the province to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
