DILG Bataan Cluster Head Melissa Nipal and MLGOO Ma. Jasmin Bartolo provided coaching and technical assistance to Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Samal on January 26, 2022. This is in preparation for this year's assessment of the 2022 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA). They were assisted by LTIA focal person, LGOO II Joanna Marie Cruz.

The province of Bataan will now also contend in the 4th to 6th class municipality category of the 2022 LTIA which will be represented by the municipality of Samal. Personnel of DILG Bataan were welcomed by PB Hector Forbes of Brgy. Sta. Lucia and Ms. Roselyn Guardian, barangay secretary.

LTIA is a recognition program of the DILG geared towards incentivizing exemplary performance of barangay lupons and promotes the Katarungang Pambarangay as an indigenous conflict resolution mechanism at the grassroots.
