The Bataan Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) held its joint 4th quarter meeting on November 23, 2021 via Zoom.

Presided by PPOC and PADAC Chairperson, Gov. Albert Garcia, the meeting presented the accomplishments of the councils for the year 2021.

"Thank you for the successful programs implemented in our province to maintain peace and order and sustain our campaign against illegal drugs.", Gov. Garcia told the council members.
"As we move forward into the pandemic, nawa'y manumbalik na ang sigla at kaunlaran sa ating lalawigan. At ito ay makakamit kung payapa at maayos din ang ating mga komunidad", Gov. Garcia added.

Updates from the PNP, Philippine Army, DPWH Districts 1 and 2, MBDA, PDEA and DOH-DATRC were reported during the online activity.

Highlighted in the meeting are the infrastructure projects and the implementation of Bataan's 'no contact apprehension' (NCAP) along Roman Superhighway which enhances efficient traffic management making the province safer and accessible for motorists and pedestrians.

Gov. Garcia stated that the NCAP uses highly-sophisticated cameras that can accurately capture the conduction sticker and plate number of offending vehicles monitored at the 1Bataan Command Center and stored through the Land Transportation Office's information database.

The joint meeting, organized by PPOC head secretariat PD Myra Moral-Soriano, was also attended by Vice Gov. Ma. Cristina Garcia, BM Popoy Del Rosario, various mayors of Bataan, LnB provincial chapter president Doroteo Austria and PPOC-PADAC members.
