Linggo ng Kabataan seals off the month with intent to campaign for Quality Education during the Youth Engage Summit 2019 at Lou-is Resort & Restaurant, Balanga City on August 31, 2019.

This year's theme, "Transforming Education" is in direct relation to Sustainable Development Goals 2030 – Quality Education which is aimed to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The DILG Bataan Provincial Office took part in the said activity and set up its booth to present various programs and projects of the Department implemented in the local level.

The Province of Bataan and the Provincial Federation of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) also tapped various organizations and government agencies to give lectures to SK members, student organizations and other youth associations. One of these organizations is the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines-R3ACH, with its members shared stories of inspiring youth initiatives and engagements in transforming education.

Meanwhile, Philippine Information Agency-Bataan Provincial Manager Jose Mari Garcia talked about #weareonewith1bataan partnership towards a rapid and impactful youth development.

Presentations and group activities related to the proposed Provincial Youth Development Plan were also discussed in the program.
