The Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC), chaired by Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, held their joint third quarter meeting on July 3, 2025, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion to reaffirm their commitment to peace, order, and inclusive development.
Focused on strengthening peace, order, and public safety, the meeting highlighted joint efforts to improve security measures and anti-illegal drug programs.

Key updates on peace and public safety were presented by the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA), National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), and the Philippine Coast Guard. Reports covered crime prevention accomplishments, internal security operations, jail management improvements, fire safety campaigns, traffic enforcement measures, and maritime security initiatives.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) highlighted sustained anti-illegal drug operations and barangay drug-clearing efforts, while the Department of Health–Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH-TRC) Bataan shared progress on rehabilitation and reintegration programs for persons who use drugs.

A dedicated segment featured an orientation on the National Amnesty Program delivered by Catherine A. Vergara, Peace Program Officer III of the Local Amnesty Board. Ms. Vergara discussed the objectives, eligibility criteria, and processes under the amnesty initiative, which aims to help qualified former rebels return to mainstream society and contribute to lasting peace.


The DILG Bataan remains steadfast in supporting local councils and stakeholders to ensure that peace, security, and development continue to flourish throughout the province.
