The Province of Bataan marked a new chapter of leadership as newly-elected Provincial, Congressional, City, and Municipal officials took their oath of office on June 30, 2025, at the Bataan People’s Center in Balanga City.
Hon. Romeo A. Austria, President of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) Bataan Chapter, administered the oath of office to the Provincial and Congressional officials, while Bataan Governor Hon. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III led the administration of oath for the municipal officials across the province.
DILG Bataan Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, opened the ceremony with a message of support. “The Department of the Interior and Local Government, as a partner in local governance, reaffirms our unwavering support as you begin this new chapter of public service,” she said.
The event gathered local chief executives, elected officials, department heads, and members of the community in a collective expression of unity and renewed dedication to public service.
As these officials formally assume their mandates, the DILG Bataan reiterates its continued support to all local government units in pursuing development, peace, and progress for every Bataeño.
