All thirteen local government units of Bataan have earned High Functional Status in the FY 2025 Functionality Assessment of the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC), based on their FY 2024 performance.
This achievement speaks not just of compliance with national standards, but of each LGU’s genuine commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of women and children. It reflects strong local leadership, active coordination, and a shared sense of responsibility in building safer, more inclusive communities.
Behind this milestone are the LGUs’ consistent efforts to strengthen local structures—through trained duty bearers, responsive programs, and working referral systems that put people’s safety and dignity at the center.
