MARIVELES, Bataan — In line with its mandate to assess various infrastructure projects funded under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), the DILG Bataan Locally Funded Projects (LFP) Team conducted on-site validations for three projects on December 16, 2024.

Joining the inspection were MLGOO Ma. Jasmin Bartolo, barangay officials, and technical staff from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan and the Municipal Engineering Office.

The rehabilitation and improvement of the health station in Barangay San Carlos (100% physically completed) and the solar lighting projects in Barangay Maligaya (ongoing) and Barangay Malaya (ongoing) each cost Php 6,606,882.17. When implemented together, these projects synergistically promote sustainable development.

The healthcare center enhances physical well-being, while solar streetlights improve safety—both contributing to a higher quality of life. Together, they also signal progress and investment in community infrastructure, fostering a sense of pride and hope among residents.
