Atty. Anthony Nuyda, CESO III, Regional Director of DILG Region III, commended the local government unit (LGU) of Bagac for successfully completing the Seal of the Good Local Governance – Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) project entitled "Local Access Road in Brgy. Banawang" as early as April 16, 2023. He emphasized that this milestone is a symbol of good local governance during his speech at the Inauguration Ceremony held at Sitio Alapat, Brgy. Banawang, Bagac on May 11, 2023.

Director Belina Herman, CESO V, DILG Bataan Provincial Director, also applauded the LGU for its commitment to finish the project quickly. She added that the prompt completion of the project will surely benefit the residents especially the local farmers. She stressed out that the essence of this undertaking is not about its monetary value but the pride of the LGU in, since the SGLGIF is the hardest to obtain. She also added that the project may not be as big as other locally-funded projects from the department that are worth more millions, but this project is more fulfilling since the LGU worked really hard to obtain the SGLG.

The event was graced by the LGU's department heads led by Municipal Administrator Nicanor Ancheta representing Mayor Rommel Del Rosario, DILG R3 CDD Chief Lee Allen Pineda, PDMS Chief Khalid Sunggod, Regional and Provincial LFP Engineers, DILG Bataan CTL Mildred Sazon, OIC-PM Laverne Gonzales Jr., and Punong Barangay Carlito Bautista together with other officials of Barangay Banawang who accepted the local access road turned-over by the LGU of Bagac.
