DILG Bataan's Provincial Team Conference (PTC) for the month of April was held yesterday, April 24, 2023 at the DILG Bataan Provincial Office, City of Balanga, Bataan. Discussion on various programs, projects, and activities under the Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), Capability Development Section (CDS), Finance and Administrative Section (FAS), and Locally-Funded Projects (LFP) were tackled during the said activity.

The presentations highlighted key matters concerning the implementation of 8888, upcoming audits on Peace and Order Council, Anti-Drug Abuse Council and Seal of Good Local Governance, Manila Bay report, LFP updates, and the provincial winners of Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards.

Further, the team recognized the top 3 field officers who garnered high scores thru their prompt submission of reports for the first quarter of 2023. LGOO VI Jomar Cruz (City of Balanga) ranked first in the combined MES and CDS compliance rating, followed by LGOO VI Vernita La Torre (Hermosa) and LGOO VI Ma. Jasmin Bartolo (Samal) in second and third places, respectively.

Another set of recognition was given to the top-performing field officers for LFP reports at which LGOO VI Ma. Jasmin Bartolo (Samal) ranked first, with LGOO VI Vernita La Torre (Hermosa) once again coming in second, and LGOO VI Allan Don Malonzo (Abucay) in third.

During the conference, PD Belina Herman and CTL Mildred Sazon encouraged the field officers to remain motivated and focused on achieving their goals for the year 2023. They emphasized the importance of working together to achieve the team's objectives.

As an essential monthly activity, the Provincial Team Conference allows the DILG Bataan team to discuss the progress and challenges in the implementation of the Department's programs, and activities in the province.

Through this conference, DILG Bataan aims to ensure that the Department's PPAs are carried out efficiently and effectively and to provide a quality public service.
