CITY OF BALANGA - DILG Bataan remained committed to its advocacy of protecting the environment and working in harmony with nature by conducting a clean-up operation near a river in Barangay Sibacan on February 28, 2023. The main objective of the activity is to preserve and protect the mangroves in the area.

 Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V lead the clean-up drive and was joined by CTL Mildred Sazon, PM Allan Don Malonzo, CLGOO Jomar Cruz, Punong Barangay Dante Leaño, some Brgy. Kagawads and other brgy officials and the provincial office personnel.

This initiative is part of the Manila Bay Clean-Up Rehabilitation and Preservation Program, with the goal of improving the health and resilience of environmental ecosystems and reducing pollution in coastal areas.

Additionally, the activity aimed to promote the importance of environmental conservation and stewardship among local officials in compliance with the Implementing Rules and Regulation of the Manila Bay program.
