The coaching sessions included discussions about the results of the 2022 Governance Assessment Report (GAR) of the LGU and the 2023 SGLG Monitoring Tool.

During her opening remarks, PD Belina Herman stated that the ultimate objective of the SGLG is to also attain AMBISYON 2040, which envisions a secure, comfortable, and peaceful life for all Filipinos.

"As public officials in Bataan, it is crucial to maintain the delivery of exceptional public services because "1Bataan" signifies not only being the best but also striving for nothing less than excellence in public service", PD Herman expressed.

Led by PD Herman, the DILG Bataan SGLG Team, also include CTL Mildred Sazon, LGOO VI Cristy Blanco (Provincial SGLG Focal Person), LGOO III Danilyn Peña and LGOO II Joanna Marie Cruz.

The SGLG coaching is a valuable initiative of DILG Bataan for LGUs seeking to improve their governance practices and service delivery. By providing guidance and support in meeting the criteria for the SGLG, LGUs can enhance their performance and better serve their constituents.
