The DILG Bataan Locally Funded Project (LFP) Team conducted the final inspection of the following infrastructure projects on March 10, 2023, funded under the Local Government Support Fund-Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU):

✅ Construction of Two (2) Multi-Purpose Buildings at Brgys. Wawa and Landing
✅ Construction of Ariada Farm-to-Market-Road at Brgy. Alangan
✅ Construction of Three (3) Multi-Purpose Buildings at Brgys. Townsite, St. Francis II and Lamao

The team thoroughly reviewed the specifications for the vertical projects mentioned above, which have a total budget of 11 million pesos. These multi-purpose buildings will function as versatile facilities, serving as hubs for everyday barangay services and temporary shelters for displaced residents during times of disasters.

In addition, the team inspected the locally-funded 240-meter concrete pavement in Sitio Akle, Barangay Alangan, which cost 4 million pesos. Since its completion, the road project has played a crucial role in serving the communities in this upland area by providing access to the market and town proper.

The LFP Team likewise held an exit conference with MPDC Maribeth Rombaoa, MEO Staff Engr. Wilmer Galut, and MPDO Staff Marivic Santos to discuss their findings from the inspection, the necessary rectifications, and considerations for future projects.
