MARIVELES, Bataan - In line with the international observance of World Day Against Child Labor, a signing of Pledge of Commitment was held on June 22, 2022 at the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).

The activity raised awareness on child laborers' plight and the elimination of child labor by providing strong support systems such as the prioritization of education.

PD Belina Herman, CESO V, together with the heads and representatives of DOLE, DSWD, DepEd, DOLE and AFAB signed the Pledge of Commitment to manifest their support to ensure that Bataan is a child labor-free province.

The campaign also strengthened the collaboration among partner agencies and FAB locators through conduct of seminars on child labor situations and related laws.
