As economy in Bataan gradually warms up, Governor Albert Garcia urged the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) to sustain their efforts in keeping the province peaceful and orderly during the joint quarterly meeting on June 3, 2022 via Zoom.

"Prevention is the name of the game. That is why we are data-driven; pinipilit nating malaman 'yung sanhi ng mga pangyayari whether it is a peace and order problem, problema sa traffic, or accidents," Gov. Garcia stated, mentioning the essence of reverse engineering to reduce the negative side effects of economic growth in the province.

As the highlight of the discussions, the executives and representatives of AFP, PNP, BFP, BJMP, MBDA, DPWH, PDEA and Bataan DTRC presented their accumulated accomplishments for the first two quarters of the year.

Gov. Garcia then acknowledged the involvement of each agency towards making Bataan the most peaceful province in the country.

Before the meeting concluded, the governor and the council members honored PD Soriano for her nine years of service in DILG Bataan as she is set for reassignment this month.

"Maraming-maraming salamat, Ma'am Myra, for being a good secretariat to the [councils] at sa lahat ng matters concerning DILG. Salamat sa inyong naging serbisyo sa aming probinsiya, and for the partnership and friendship sa aming lahat. Thank you very much and we wish you the best on your new assignment and sigurado kaming magiging asset kayo ng Pampanga," Gov. Garcia expressed.

The activity was also attended by Vice Governor Ma. Cristina Garcia, BM Popoy Del Rosario, COPs of Bataan and various council members.
