CITY OF BALANGA - The LTIA Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) convened today at the DILG Bataan Provincial Office for the annual search of outstanding lupons under the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA) of the DILG.


Brgy. Alangan, Limay was once again declared as the provincial champion for the 1st to 3rd class municipality category. Brgy. San Ramon, Dinalupihan placed runner-up. Notably, Alangan is the national winner on last year’s LTIA, aiming for a repeat this year in the said category. Meanwhile, Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Samal emerged as the winner in the 4th to 6th class municipality category and will become a first-time provincial contender at the regional level.

The Provincial Awards Committee chaired by Dir. Myra Moral-Soriano, with heads and representatives from DOJ, Regional Trial Court, PNP, Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) provincial chapter and Bataan’s Host Lions Club, as the NGO representative, validated the documents and the results submitted by the municipal awards committee. Alangan and Sta. Lucia will represent Bataan and move on to the LTIA regional assessment slated next month. LTIA was established to grant recognition and incentives to outstanding lupons for their contributions in promoting and attaining the objectives of the Katarungang Pambarangay.
