The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Region III headed by Regional Director Florida M. Dijan conducted the Local Governance Performance Management System (LGPMS) Regional Utilization Conference and Gawad Pagkilala sa Natatanging Pamamahala on October 24, 2012, 9:00 am at Oxford Hotel, Clarkfield, Pampanga.

The Regional Peace and Order Council of Region 3 convened last October 24, 2012 at Oxford Hotel Clarkfield, Pampanga for a dialogue with SILG Mar Roxas. The governors of every provinces, HUC mayors as well as the presidents of the league of municipalities presented the peace and order issues in their areas of responsibility as seconded by the provincial directors of the Philippine National Police.

Region 3 SaLinTubig Beneficiaries Receive First Tranche of Allocation

Three of the 7 Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) Program beneficiaries of Region 3 had received the first tranche (50%) of their allocation namely, Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT) in Bulacan, Lubao in Pampanga and Llanera in Nueva Ecija amounting to P3.5 Million Pesos, P1 Million Pesos and P1.5 Million Pesos, respectively.

DILG R-3 had its Mid-Year Performance Review for CY 2012 on July 5-6, 2012 at Forest View, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City. It was participated in by Regional Top Management which includes the Regional Director, Asst. Regional Director, Division Chiefs, Asst. Div. Chiefs and section/unit chiefs/heads of the Finance Administrative Division (FAD) and Office of the Regional Director (ORD). The activity was conducted to review the past six months accomplishments and operations of the region for this year at the same time revisit the remaining targets for the second semester in order to better improve Region 3’s organizational performance.
