The Provincial Government of Aurora, in partnership with DILG Aurora, through the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) for LCPC and the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (PIMT) for LCAT-VAWC, conducted the joint table assessments of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) for the Municipality of San Luis on April 23, 2026, at the Governor’s Conference Room of the Provincial Government of Aurora.

The activity highlighted strengthened inter-agency collaboration and reaffirmed a shared commitment to advancing child protection and promoting gender-responsive governance. It also provided a platform for meaningful and constructive dialogue between assessors and local government functionaries, enabling the exchange of insights, validation of existing practices, identification of gaps, and alignment with established standards and policy frameworks.

Furthermore, the assessment reinforced the importance of continuous improvement by encouraging LGUs to further enhance their institutional systems, adopt more responsive and evidence-based approaches, and strengthen capacity development initiatives. These efforts are geared toward ensuring more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable delivery of programs and services for the protection and welfare of women and children.
