The Provincial Government of Aurora in partnership with the DILG Aurora through the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) for LCPC and the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (PIMT) for LCAT-VAWC conducts the joint table assessments of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) for the Municipality of Baler on April 20, 2026, at the Provincial Government of Aurora Governor’s Conference Room.
The activity highlighted stronger inter-agency collaboration and a shared commitment to advancing child protection and gender-responsive governance. It also provided a platform for meaningful dialogue between assessors and local government units, enabling the exchange of insights, identification of gaps, and alignment of standards.
Additionally, it reinforced continuous improvement by encouraging LGUs to enhance their systems, adopt responsive strategies, and strengthen capacity development efforts for more effective and inclusive service delivery for the protection of women and children.
