On 25 February 2026, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora Provincial Office, as part of its continuing commitment to advance the health and welfare of its personnel, successfully conducted an onsite medical service in collaboration with the HI-CARE Laboratory and Diagnostic Center, through PhilHealth through its YAKAP Program.

A total of fifteen (15) personnel availed of the medical services, reflecting the Office’s proactive approach in providing accessible and convenient healthcare support within the workplace. The initiative aimed to ensure that employees remain physically fit and capable of delivering efficient, responsive, and quality public service.

The activity highlights the shared commitment of DILG Aurora and PhilHealth to promote preventive care and employee wellness. By bringing essential health services directly to government personnel, the program reinforces the importance of early detection, regular health monitoring, and sustained healthcare awareness.
Moreover, the initiative was implemented in support of DILG’s Gender and Development (GAD) Program, which advocates for equal access to healthcare services and recognizes the diverse health needs of all personnel. The ongoing partnership between DILG Aurora and Hi-Care, established in 2025, demonstrates a sustained effort to strengthen healthcare accessibility and institutionalize wellness initiatives within the organization.
Through this continued collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their dedication to nurturing a healthy and productive workforce. Recognizing that public servants perform at their best when they are healthy, supported, and valued, DILG Aurora remains steadfast in fostering a workplace environment that upholds well-being, professionalism, and excellence in public service.
